- Please note that when using the AC Adapter with this item, we recommend plugging it into an outlet that is not controlled by an ON/OFF switch. If the AC Adapter is plugged into the wall outlet designated for a garbage disposal, oftentimes that outlet is controlled by a switch, thereby not allowing the MotionSense faucet to function when the switch is in the OFF position.
